It’s a bit of a cluster today with Hurricane Sandy, so I’m just going to keep this short and sweet. First off, my Shindig author chat tomorrow night was cancelled due to the weather – it will be rescheduled at a later time. (Probably next week.) I’m still trying to figure out if I’m going to be able to make it to Toronto on Wednesday – the storm should be over by then (at least where I am), but I suspect the airports are going to be an utter nightmare. Plus, LBI is currently taking a terrible beating right now – there’s a good chance we’re going to lose the beach house – it’s entirely probably I may be in NJ over the weekend instead to try to help salvage. Just not sure yet. Check out LBI Source for some absolutely horrifying pictures of what the island is going through…

Gonna be a short and sweet post today – working from home because I’m in a pain overload of some sort. Maybe it’s the weather – I hear there’s some sort of mega storm coming our way (just in time for me to try to fly to Toronto next week, huzzah!). In either case, I’m all about the ice packs today, so there we go. Otherwise, I’m over at Word Whores talking about writing horror scenes. It’s not really all that great a post because I don’t write horror and I’m not that fond of reading it either. (Though I did post the excellent Actual Cannibal Shia LeBouf video, so there is that.) And Fox & Willow is updated today too. 🙂 Blog Tour link: Ramblings From This Chick – there’s a Phineas-centric excerpt from Trace of Moonlight posted here, so go check that out if you want to get…

This is one of those days where I feel like all I’m going to do is post links about where I am. >_< First off – my post at Word-Whores is about superstitious characters this week. (And why I don’t seem to have any.) New Fox & Willow up today – page 50, if you can believe that! Blog Tour stuff: Read an excerpt from A Trace of Moonlight over at Urban Fantasy Investigations (What’s it like to come back from the dead and realize your Dreaming Heart is destroyed? Abby finds out in this little section…) Review and Giveaway over at Confessions from Romaholics. I *think* that’s it for today! 😀…

Con Aftermath

Clearly I didn’t post much the last few days – not even twitter or tumblr. Part of that was just time (and lousy signal)…and also just being so tired I couldn’t make the effort. (No, I don’t know who photobombed Gandalf there, but I gave up trying to get pictures without people. And lego people rock.) Not that the con wasn’t fun – it was, but I think it was a tad too crowded for my tastes overall. (And right now I’m pretty grumpy – lack of sleep and just plain travel fatigue will do that to a person.) Most of my pictures came out blurry (of course) so I don’t actually have much to show, but as far as recaps go: Thursday afternoon, I got in late in the afternoon, met with my agent and toured the agency office and then headed down to the Javits center with Emma…
