Happy Halloween!

Late night post because I spent most of the day in various states of traveling – I probably won’t be blogging too much the next few days. Cons just tend to keep me busy/exhausted/whatever so I tend to slack off. I did want to mention that I’m participating in a Halloween blog-hop this week though. Happy Release Day to…Me :D

Guess there’s not much else to say! 😀 A Trace of Moonlight is now officially on sale, and I really hope you all enjoy it. Go here for excerpt and links to buy! (Fellow Word-Whore Carolyn Crane and my agency sister, Sandy Williams both have new releases today too, so go check them out!) Otherwise, I’m just hunkering down today  – as noted, my scheduled Shindig with Sandy Williams was cancelled for this evening and will be rescheduled for a later date. Hopefully the airports will be open and running smoothly by tomorrow and I’ll be able to make it up to Toronto for World Fantasy Con. I’ll keep you all posted. 🙂… Read more

Battening Down

It’s a bit of a cluster today with Hurricane Sandy, so I’m just going to keep this short and sweet. First off, my Shindig author chat tomorrow night was cancelled due to the weather – it will be rescheduled at a later time.  (Probably next week.) I’m still trying to figure out if I’m going to be able to make it to Toronto on Wednesday – the storm should be over by then (at least where I am), but I suspect the airports are going to be an utter nightmare. Plus, LBI is currently taking a terrible beating right now – there’s a good chance we’re going to lose the beach house – it’s entirely probably I may be in NJ over the weekend instead to try to help salvage. Shelter From the Storm

Well, since the forecasters are basically making it sound the apocalypse is coming, figured I’d just mention where I’ll be over the next week or so, since who knows if I’ll have power after tomorrow. >_< So assuming all is zen with the electricity, here’s what’s going on: Saturday: 2:30 pm EST – online panel/chat at Coyote Con – The Good, The Bad, The Girly & The Manly – with me, Jeffe Kennedy, Carolyn Crane and Laura Bickle. It’s free, but you do need to register so you can log on to get into the chat. Tuesday – book release day! Huzzah! Word-Whore ~ Fox and Willow Thursday

Gonna be a short and sweet post today – working from home because I’m in a pain overload of some sort. Maybe it’s the weather – I hear there’s some sort of mega storm coming our way (just in time for me to try to fly to Toronto next week, huzzah!). In either case, I’m all about the ice packs today, so there we go. Otherwise, I’m over at Word Whores  talking about writing horror scenes. It’s not really all that great a post because I don’t write horror and I’m not that fond of reading it either. (Though I did post the excellent Actual Cannibal Shia LeBouf video, so there is that.)
