Running Out of Words

Well, not really. But one of the problems with being a daily blogger is trying to come up with new topics for guest blogs. On my own personal blog I feel like I can pretty much talk about anything. Gaming. Writing. Stupid videos. Naked men. Whatever strikes my fancy at a given moment. But when I’m a guest on someone else’s blog, I usually feel as though I need to deliver something with a bit more quality than just “Hey – funny unicorn humping a dolphin video!” Sort of like going to someone’s house I guess. And of course, then you get like what I had this morning, where I completely forgot I owed someone a guest blog (outside my tour, so I’d neglected to put it on my schedule). Happy Release Day…to Me! :)

Okay – I’m all over the place today – guest posts and giveaways and all that fun stuff. I’ll be updating the links in this post as things come up, but I wanted to give a massive shout out to all my fabulous friends and family (and fans!) who have been tweeting and Facebooking and everything else today. You guys are how books get sold and the reason I write and I can’t thank you all enough. (And major props go to Aimo for the awesomesauce gif up there. A complete surprise and so brilliant. I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, Apparently.

I started trying to keep track of my sleeping hours a month or so ago, so I can say officially that I haven’t gotten more than 3 to 5 hours a night for about that month. And whatever sleep I *am* getting isn’t doing me much good. Even when I go to bed early, no caffeine, etc – it doesn’t seem to matter. Brain won’t shut off or something. I don’t know. I’ve tried napping with little success. It just seems like I’ve always got one ear open and listening for something, but I don’t know what that is. I do feel a bit like a zombie, which isn’t exactly conducive to all the stuff about to come down the pipeline. I owe people things. Blurbs, posts, interviews, etc. I’m working on them. I promise, but the last few nights I’ve come home from work and it’s like I’ve slammed… Read more
