Team Phin

Since I’ve had a fair amount of interest in the possibility of t-shirts and other items made with designs inspired by A Brush of Darkness, I’m unveiling the first potential design today. Not quite a Team Phin, but not too far off. I will probably start this off on a t-shirt, but I’m open to suggestions as to other items as well. (Seriously – mugs? stamps? tote bags? What do you guys want? Are there other things you’d like to see? I’ve had requests for Midnight Marketplace stuff too. No promises, obviously, but I’ll see what I can do.) I suspect I’ll probably have a set of business cards made up with this design, simply because I can. Brush of Darkness Jewelry!

Special news today, folks – the awesome @psynde of Cemetery Cat Designs has unveiled a new line of jewelry based on A Brush of Darkness! The line is called CrossRoads and KeyStones. (Please note that the store only shows what’s in stock – within 15 minutes of the announcement on Twitter two of the three pieces were sold, but I’m putting the pictures up here anyway, since synde is making more and will take orders as well) <== This is Abby’s necklace, Heart of the Dreaming. (I believe the heart will be larger in the next set) <== This is Melanie’s necklace, Fiddler’s Green <== This is the TouchStone bracelet. First thing today is a massively huge squee to my friend Bluenail (aka the Ninja Knitter), who sent me these fabulous hand-made arm socks. (or fingerless wrist-warmers, whichever). They are so soft and pretty and *warm*. I’ve been begging for a set of these since I’ve known her and now I get to cackle with glee every time I look down at my hands. *cackle* So, there we go. Otherwise, I am blogging over Sci Fi Chick today about Brystion and a little bit on romancing an incubus, so feel free to stop on by and ask a few questions if you like. Oh and for a bit of random amusement, apparently my book was selected by Mark Henry as part of his “Read a book in one day” challenge. Release Day! And Snark Award!

Well, I’ve been up for well over 24 hours at this point and unable to sleep from all the excitement, but I just wanted to pop on and thank everyone so, so much for all the fabulous shout outs today/last night. (And, OMG, the tweets! The tweeting has been insane!) And flowers from Danielle! (And silly pictures of unicorns in underwear and hedgehogs!) Also very, very cool? The League of Reluctant Adults very own Mark Henry has just awarded me with the very first League of Reluctant Adults Snark Certification. @Phintheunicorn is *so* proud. 😀 And the iPod Touch giveaway is about to go live in about 30 minutes, so I hope to see you all there soon!
