I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, Apparently.

I started trying to keep track of my sleeping hours a month or so ago, so I can say officially that I haven’t gotten more than 3 to 5 hours a night for about that month. And whatever sleep I *am* getting isn’t doing me much good. Even when I go to bed early, no caffeine, etc – it doesn’t seem to matter. Brain won’t shut off or something. I don’t know. I’ve tried napping with little success. It just seems like I’ve always got one ear open and listening for something, but I don’t know what that is. I do feel a bit like a zombie, which isn’t exactly conducive to all the stuff about to come down the pipeline. I owe people things. Blurbs, posts, interviews, etc. I’m working on them. I promise, but the last few nights I’ve come home from work and it’s like I’ve slammed… Read more

Every Day I’m Shuffling…

It’s been a few years since I’ve seen/read it, but in Memoirs of a Geisha there was a scene where Saiyuri, the Geisha in training, goes from tea house to tea house to try to boost her status. Of course her rival found out and it became a constant game of cat and mouse. As one showed up, the other one would leave. Neither here nor there, except to say that an author on a blog tour is much the same. Not about the rival part, just that sometimes it feels like I’m constantly shuffling  from blog to blog. A guest post here, an interview there, giveaways and promo and smiles everywhere. Which is awesome – but not with my boss sitting catty corner to me in cubelandia. Sad Sausage Dogs Update

Just a little post to say that Sad Sausage Dogs is now “unofficially” up and running, though there are still a few bumps to flatten out. However, we’ve got a Twitter page and Facebook fan page up now as well and eventually the comic pages and additional updates will automatically feed into that. (And once we get going with that, I’ll probably feed it onto my own Facebook pages too – we’ll have to see. Even though Fox & Willow isn’t running yet, Aimo does have some fun little bits of art we’ll be uploading there as we go, and today we’ve started with a piece she did for the Womanthology Valentine’s Day extra, so go check it out.
