Two down. Two to go.

Actually it’s more like 3 down, since one of the people I was supposed to pitch to tomorrow had a conflict and just said to send her the first 3 chapters up front. That and a short note and it goes to the top of the slush pile.

The actual pitching went well. Nervous as hell initially but it really wasn’t as bad as I thought. Got a request for the first 50 pages from one and the first 3 chapters from the other, so that’s my goal next week. Has me thinking that I don’t know if I have enough of a hook for the pitch, but hopefully the writing sample will do what I need it to.

Now it’s time for a little rest, another mixer or two and then the ball. My roomies are going to do my hair, yay!
