Word Whore Thursday: Office Space
I’m over at Word-Whores today talking a little bit about where I do my writing. (Including a wretchedly awful shot of a very messy desk.) *ahem* Otherwise, I’m rushing around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get all the last minute stuff packed for the con tomorrow in Philly (or I will be once I bug out of work in a little bit.) I’ll admit I’m a little freaked out since tomorrow will be my first actual set of panels. (Popping the panel cherry, yo!) I assume all will be well, but hopefully I won’t say anything too silly. (Though I suppose that’s always a delightful risk, eh?) Should be fun, either way. Also, for those of you attending the book signing and may be interested, I’ll be taking names of people who might want to purchase custom BoD Sketchcards! 🙂 I’m still feeling out how…

Authors After Dark Schedule
Okay, here’s a little run down on what’s happening as far as the AAD con goes. I won’t actually be there for the Thursday fun, but starting on Friday, this is where I’ll be: 11 AM – Character Fail Panel 3 PM – Odd Paranormals Panel Between 11PM – 1AM – I’ll be running the Hospitality Suite during some part of this time block. It’s also during the Mythos Ball. I haven’t decided if I’m dressing up for this or not. (even tho, yes I have elf ears and light up wings and all the rest. We’ll see.) Saturday: 11 AM – Demons Panel 2 PM – 4:30 PM – Book signing 7 PM – until 1 AM – the Steampunk dinner/ball. Conventions and Such
I’ve officially signed up for a third convention this summer – the Authors After Dark con in Philly. And hey, I’m actually going to be on a few panels in this one (look for me specifically on the one about odd paranormal creatures in books. Go figure.) Even though the con starts on Thursday, I won’t actually be able to make it until Friday morning, my schedule being what it is – but I’ll definitely be there for the book signing on Saturday and the SteamPunk party. So that’s three cons this summer (plus a cruise in the Bahamas). Plus book 3 due in August. Gonna be crazy, but I suspect I’ll survive. *cough* Anyway. I’ve also gone ahead and gotten a PO Box.
