Over on the FFP Pro loop, we’ve started this ‘Pearl of the Day’ thing, where we post the best thing we’ve written all day. I haven’t been able to keep up the last few days since I haven’t really been writing, but I like the idea of doing it on a daily basis anyway, so here’s a quote from The Mermaid’s Rose, a short one-shot retelling of the end of The Little Mermaid, written for a Backspace contest.
