Full Circle

We headed down to Richmond for the day yesterday to do the usual Thanksgiving thing. (I’m actually rather thankful that I’m not hosting anything this year – I’m a really lousy cook and hosting things is usually way more stress than it’s worth for me.)

At any rate, thinking back on where I was this time last year – I’d just had an off from Dorchester to buy my book and I had three agents who’d offered me representation.

And I had no idea what I was going to do.

It was a heady time. (And a very thankful one, honestly – such a crazy situation to be in, but also a very good one.)

Since then, I’ve gained an agent, gained a three book deal with Pocket, gained an editor, rewrote my paranormal romance into an urban fantasy, lost an agent, gained a new agent, lost my editor and finished up the draft of my second book (which I’m just starting to revise now.)

It’s been a hell of a year. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
