Blargh.

This week has been a bit crazy as far as the emotional ups and downs go. (Some of which I’ve already extrapolated upon in the blog, and some of which will remain neatly private.)

If I’ve been an insane grudgefuck of a girl to anyone out there this week, then I deeply apologize. Lord knows I went off on my kids last night, a fact for which I am not particularly proud. (We did make up afterwards, which was nice, but not really a position I wanted to be in.) I shall endeavor to be better next week.

At any rate, I’ve been debating on the wisdom of a few things – my official author site is currently being developed – should hopefully be finished by the end of the month.  I’m trying to decide if I should just fold this blog into it, or keep it separate. Mostly because I’m feeling rather lazy right now and I don’t know if I really want to keep up two blogs at once. On the other hand, I’m not sure how professional He-Man WTFkery would look to a publisher.

*cough*

Sort of a fine line, because I can be very silly here sometimes and it’s probably not what I always want to project. On the other hand, it’s as me as you can get – without *every* little detail. What are people more interested in?

Aside from the last of my edits, the only thing I have left are the dedication and the acknowledgements. The dedication is probably too obvious…but the acknowledgements? There are so many people I want to thank – some of whom weren’t really instrumental in helping me write so much as being there for me during different periods while I was writing. I don’t know how to break that up or fit everyone in. I’m terrified I’ll leave someone out and offend them.

Guess I’ll have to think on that one a bit more.

Personally, I like the raw you here. What if instead of posting every day here and every day on a more "official" blog, you split it up? Blog on the author site once or twice a week and keep the rest for here where you can let loose and vent a little?

Hell, I'm really the wrong person to ask for advice on this, if I remember to blog once a week I'm doing good. (I'm actually a little nervous about upping it to twice a week this summer.)

Raw is probably a good word. I don't hold much back. Usually.

And I like not having a schedule of subjects I have to stick to. Suppose if I end up with the second blog I will write about more "authorly" types of subjects.
